Beyond the excellent character-building and voice acting put into Inigo, the amount of sheer effort alone is reason enough to download one of the best follower mods available for Skyrim.Bethesda Game Studios RPG have a very particular identity, and though different properties transport players to different locations with their own unique experiences, the studio’s DNA is prominent in each of its games. Inigo comes with over 7,000 new lines of dialogue, all fully voiced and written by Gary Hesketh, who often goes by Smartbluecat online. Or, Inigo can just make up a tune while traveling back to Whiterun. The Dragonborn can flip through the book on their own or sit down with Inigo at any point to have him read through it.
He comes with an affinity for singing, a pet dragonfly, and a "choose-your-own-adventure"-styled book that Inigo is working on throughout his travels. Inigo even seems to be just as creative as Gary. Players can sit down at any point and ask Inigo what he thinks of the Dragonborn, which will prompt him to give up some interesting statistics based on the player's many choices. Inigo even has an intelligent enough AI to keep track of the Dragonborn's behavioral patterns. Inigo is highly interactive with the Dragonborn, offering plenty of dialogue and humorous comments. So much creativity went into Inigo's lore and backstory, and the amount of work that was put into fleshing out the character is downright impressive. Gary Hesketh is the man behind the Inigo mod, and his work definitely deserves praise. Players will learn about his interests, his past life, and even why he looks so unusual compared to other Khajiits. Beyond this, Inigo comes with his own questline and background, which will begin to unravel the more the player speaks with him. The Dragonborn can explore Skyrim with Inigo at their side as a fully functional follower. Instead, players can reunite with Inigo, forgive him, and allow him to accompany the Dragonborn to protect them with his life. Ridden with guilt for almost killing the Dragonborn, Inigo pays the guards to imprison him while he waits for death to claim him. Players will have to either persuade or bribe a guard to let them through the door, which will lead to a note describing a strange Khajiit who paid to be imprisoned.Īs it turns out, the Dragonborn and Inigo know each other from a past job. To find the new companion, players will first have to travel to the city of Riften and then head to Riften's jail cells. Once the Inigo mod is downloaded, players will have access to a brand-new follower in the world of Skyrim.
